We’re taking bookings now for July 2024 through February 2025. Our multiday day Stewart Island famous trips offer; deep water fishing out to the Western side of Stewart Island targeting Hapuka and Bluenose, and the magic of the Eastern side including Port Pegasus, fishing for Trumpeter and of course Blue Cod as well as Crayfish & Oysters (till end of August 2024) on the way home. Trips are all inclusive, that’s food, bedding and fishing gear supplied.

Trips tailored for your group.
Our multi day Charters allow us to customise a trip of a lifetime. Activities are dependent on trip length and weather but could include circumnavigating the Island with stops to explore the native bush, secluded beaches and historic sites. Activities are somewhat endless, previous charters have enjoyed freediving, scuba diving, fishing (deep water, Tuna, Hapuka, Cod, Trumpeter all weather and season dependent), hunting (pre planned permits required), bush walks, photography and bird watching (Kiwi, Albatross, Penguins).
Pricing
Pricing is for the entire vessel for your group of up to 8 people and includes GST.
For the July 2024 through February 2025 season our charter trips are priced at $24,000 including GST. Splitting the cost over your group of 8 is $3,100 per person incl GST.
Our trips are over 5 days generally Monday - Friday. A typical trip may see you catching the first Ferry from Bluff on the Monday and meeting us and our Vessel at the wharf in Oban, Stewart Island. On the Friday you’ll disembark our Vessel to catch the last Ferry ride of the day back to Bluff. We recommend extending your time to stay on the Island whether it be before or after the Monday - Friday trip dates if your schedule allows.
What’s included
Our trips include 3 meals per day, all bedding, guided use of our tender and fishing gear. If required groups will need to supply their own snacks, alcohol and drinks and dive gear. A full breakdown is supplied when discussing your tailored trips with us.
Our 5 day trip allow us time to circumnavigate Stewart Island (weather dependent) with generally 2 nights in Port Pegasus. The Western side offers great deep water fishing for Hapuka, Blue Nose, Blue fin Tuna, Trumpeter and Crayfish. The Eastern side has Scallops, Paua, Hunting opportunities, ample walks and various off boat activities.
Previous groups have enjoyed extended trips (6 or 7 days), please contact us to discuss the options.
