Yuwindi II.
Yuwindi II was relocated from Tasmania, Australia to New Zealand late 2021 by her owners SouthWestNZ. A significant refit has taken place during 2022. The custom refit is for the specific purpose of allowing comfortable multi night charters for groups of up to 8 people plus her crew. She is Registered in NZ as a Charter and Passenger Vessel.
Cruising with a maximum of 8 guests overnight, Yuwindi II has sleeping arrangements for her guests plus crew (see layout below). The raised maxi vision wheelhouse affords panoramic views and full height group accommodation below. The extended wheelhouse at deck level provides a larger scale galley for meal preparation with comfortable dining and seating to take in the views either side. The canopy has been extended further to allow a large outdoor deck space. Two separate bathrooms are accessed from this rear deck.
With a 5.5m beam the rear deck space allows room for multiple activities and the crane will relocate the tender from up on top of the canopy into the waters ready for exploring. A water maker is also onboard which allows us to explore for longer. We have high quality and capacity house batteries, inverters, genset and solar to ensure comfort onboard. On the colder days our diesel oven provides toasty warmth to the insulated wheelhouse.

Accommodation.
Accessed from the extended wheelhouse is the guest sleeping area. There are 4 beds in the V berth and 5 beds in the accommodation area. All beds are wider than standard, at least 1.9m long and are made from high quality memory foam for your comfort after a days exploring. The space is ventilated, insulated and heated on the colder nights.
Rear Deck.
A large deck is enjoyed out the back for fishing and preparing for activities. A FassiF40 hiab is situated on the rear deck for lifting requirements and moving the tender. A rear platform provides access to the tender. Two wash down hoses are avaliable. The two rear bathrooms are accessed from the rear deck.
Kitchen and Seating.
We are well equipped to cook up the catch of the day onboard! There is comfortable seating for indoor dining for all onboard. The diesel oven provides toasty radiant heat on the cooler days.
Tender
Yuwindi II is supported by our RIB tender aka Chicken Tender. The RIB is lifted on and off with the use of Yuwindi II’s crane on the rear deck and stored above the canopy. The RIB is NZ made for our conditions. At 4.5m long with a 50hp outboard it’s our preferred method of transport for taking guests ashore or to diving locations.
